Dormatory management recieved a complaint of a marijuana odor near the arrested party's room. Upon entering the dorm room, the management employees immediately recognized the odor of what they described as marijuana and notified campus police. Arrested subject consented to the search of his room and then turned over a bag of what he described as marijuana to the reporting officer. Subject was arrested and transported to Orleans Parish Jail without further incident.Report was filed under NOPD item number D-25164-09.
