Officer was dispatched for a report of a past larceny. Upon arrival he met with the victim who stated that her cell phone was stolen from her coat while she was working in lab # 160 sometime between 7:30 PM and 8:30 PM.

The victim said that she initially hung her coat on the rack but later found it on a lab desk, checked her pocket and discovered the phone missing. The victim further states that on 2/28/2009 at 5:30 PM her roommate received a cell text message from the stolen phone.

The victim then called the stolen phone number and a female answered when she inquired about the sent text message and who she was talking to and the person identified herself. The victim states that she is a lab classmate at and was present in the lab on day of theft.
